The Ryan Valley surrounds the Ryan River near Pemberton in the North Shore mountains. In the 1990s, Valleau Logging harvested trees in the valley, where they filmed several forestry films including Valleau Logging – Snag!, Valleau Logging – Logging Trucks and Valleau Logging – Grapple Yarding.
